A. Pre-Sale Questions

A1. What is a CD Library?

CD Library is an automatic storage/retrieve system which holds 150 CDs. You can find a CD in seconds and you don't even have to remember where your CDs are. When you are selecting a CD, the CD Library will spin to that specific number and the CD Library will pull out the CD. CD Library is a totally new concept to manage your CDs.

A2. Why I need a CD Library?

CD Library is a brand new idea to store and manage your CDs. The CD Library can not only store software CDs, but also music CDs, game CDs and DVDs and any other kinds of media CDs. You can put them all together without having to categorize them. The bundle software will manage and search for you and retrieve the CD that you’re looking for in mere seconds. This method of organization will not only save space but now you no longer need to worry about losing a CD because it’s all in one convenient place.

A3. Does CD Library have a CD reader inside?

No, CD Library doesn't have a CD reader inside. CD Library is a automatic storage/retrieve system which provides a small space (round box) to store up to 150 CDs. Saving CDs in CD Library can prevent harm from dust and scratches.

A4. If I have 250 CDs, a CD Library can only hold 150 CDs. What should I do?

You need 2 CD Libraries to set up your CD storage/retrieve system. The CD library system can be daisy-chained together. Put the other 100 CDs into the 2nd CD Library. The first CD Library will be ID1, and the second one will be ID2. The CD Library database can automatically detect these 2 units and manage all these 250 CDs within one system instead of separately which prevents complications and confusion. The CD Library can be stackable; thus, you only need very tiny space to build your CD storage/retrieve system.

A5. Do I need a computer to control CD Library?

The CD Library package contains a book called Management Form. People can use this form to manually write down CD information and set up their own storage system.

Just follow the movie and software instructions. You click the add new CD in menu. After inputting the CD title in title field, insert your CD to the CD ROM drive and then your computer will automatically read the file information in the CD and insert records in the database software. Each CD Library machine has a unique ID number inside the control chip. The software will start once the number has been found.  There is a file called "dbid.txt", which can be found in "C:\Program Files\CD Library"   You will see the first line represents the first CD Library machine, second line represents the second CD Library machine. In the software, you need to build a CD Library database and name them ID1 and ID2. When you click ID1, Slot 1 to 150, you are controlling the first CD Library machine.
