SET UP:

insert the CD

A. To Install MyPhone Software.

1. click “install” the MyPhone software.

 

 

 

2.  Select your language to then click “OK”.

      3.  Read the MyPhone software insatallation agreement and click ‘Yes’.

 

4. Click ‘Next’ unless you want to put MyPhone under a different folder

 

5.  click ‘Next’

 

 

6. Please wait till the software installation is completed (100%)

 

 

 

 

 

 

4. Please wait for a minute for Auto Launch Bar for complete the MyPhone Hardware set up.

5. The set up has complete the MyPhone installation, please click ‘Finish’.

B. Install MyPhone Hardware.

 

 

  1. Plug the USB cable (that come with the package) into the USB port on your PC.

**Important Note: please plug the MyPhone USB cable directly to the PC USB port.

If you use an external USB Hub, please make sure you use a self-powered USB HUB (a Hub that uses an AC power adapter). (please see the photo)

 

 

  1. Plug the other end of the USB cable to the USB port at the bottom end of MyPhone.

 

  1. Computer will show found new hardware on the bottom status bar

 

 

 

 

4. Following the default wizard setting, Just click the ‘Next’ button

 

 

 

 

**Important Note: Ignore the following warning message “Microsoft hardware signature did not match” if it shows up, simply press “Continue Anyway” key.

 

 

 


5. Click ‘Finish’ button to finish hardware setup

 

 

6. After complete the set up the screen will show ‘ Your hardware is installed and ready to use

 

 

 

7. Go to setting/control panel for double checking if my phone has been set up successfully.

ß USB Phone Device in USB controller

 

ß USB Audio Device in Sound Device

 

 

 

**Important Note:    Go to: "start" -> control panel -> Systems->"hardware" -> "Device Manager" and check if your audio card is set to: either  Eznetcomm USB, and USB controllers shows Eznetcomm” or “USB audio”.  Otherwise, the driver installation is not completed successfully.  Repeat the above procedure until it’s correctly installed.

 

C. MyPhone to MyPhone SetUP.

 

  1. Please double click at the MyPhone icon in yellow on your PC desktop screen.

 

  1. A big red phone keypad will pop-up on the PC screen, Please Login with your ID number Iin the back of the MyPhone handset (or on the back of the MyPhone adapter).

Please use animation to indicate those ‘dialing action’.

 

Note: The phone number (ID) and the password (PW) are printed in the back of the MyPhone.

Enter the 6-digit ID number (this is your MyPhone number for others to call you) and then press “Enter” key on your keyboard (or click on “OK” button on the red MyPhone keypad).

3. Please enter the Password

Each password digit you entered will be displayed as an “*”, press “Enter” key (or click on “OK” button on the red MyPhone keypad) when you finish entering all the 6 digits.

4.   Congratualation! You have finished the MyPhone account setup procedure, and you are ready to make calls.  For tech support, you can press “100544” and “#” key (from the handset or from the phone that is connected to the MyPhone adapter)  or call 1-630-226-9987 using your regular PSTN phone.  Please go to “How To Dial” to learn how to make calls.

D. To set up MyPhone for calling any regular phones.

 

  1. After turning on your handset, Simply dial   (   key on your handset, the screen will pop up another dial pad (From Media Ring – Internet Phone Service Provider ) on the monitor.

 

 

  1. Dial the phone number you try to reach <country code>+<area code>+<phone number> then press ‘ # ‘ key

 

  1. A dialog window will pop up to ask you to input account number and pin number

 

  1. After input correct account and pin number then press ‘Ok’ button, you can make phone call to anywhere in the world. Remember to click the Save account/ping check box to save your account and pin number to prevent you to re-input account and pin number in the future.



  1. To finishing your call, please dial ( ’ again. Then the dial pad will disappear and you turn off your handset
